First African female skeleton athlete, Simi Adeagbo stars in Nike’s latest advert

Nigerians at home and diaspora are having another proud moment as the first African female Skeleton Athlete, Simidele Adeagbo is featured in Nike’s latest ‘Just Do It’ advertisement.
The ad, displayed on Nike’s Youtube page, features the athlete doing her sports alone. She was quoted saying in the advert:
“Being first, it doesn’t always last. But being the first to go where they said you shouldn’t, the first to do what they didn’t expect, the first to charge a new course; that lasts forever.”
After which she zoomed past in her sled.
