By Rita Chioma,
In what appears to be a celebration of the season of love, Desmond Elliot took his time off as a busy politician’s schedule to drive children from his Surulere  constituency to their various schools.
The number of celebrities carrying out selfless acts and giving back to the society is improving at a rather impressive rate.
Just recently, Nollywood actor and comedian, Williams Uchemba revealed his plans of sending 100 kids back to school.
The Nollywood actor turned politician recently took to the social media platform to share lovely photos with some Surulere kids which he drove to school in a bus.
Posting several pictures with the kids, an excited Desmond Elliot captioned one of them: “I was soooooo excited as well , can’t wait to do it again soon . Loved every minute of it . Suru wa a Lere oo #itesiwajuipinleekolojewalogun #servicetomypeople #ilovewhatilike”
This is not the first time he is rendering help. In December 2017, the actor was pictured in a Santa Claus costume handing out gifts to people in Surulere area of Lagos state. He shared videos and photos on his Instagram page describing the gift giving process.
The actor turned politician was born to a Yoruba father and an Igbo mother. Elliot’s rise in the movie industry began after a friend advised him to become an actor. He began with playing roles in soap operas.
The actor became a member of the House of Assembly to represent the Surulere constituency in 2015.
