British Airways fires hostess behind racist Snapchat rant against Nigerians

The British Airways hostess behind a racist Snapchat rant against Nigerian passengers demanding ‘f***ing upgrades’ has been sacked by the airline during a two-hour meeting with aviation bosses.
She claimed it was a joke but the airline did not buy her story, Mailonline reports.
Joanne Wickenden, 23, when she worked for easyjet, sparked outrage after recording the racist clip in her BA uniform before flying from London Heathrow to Abuja on Friday night.
In a statement ,the airline said “she no longer works for British Airways”, adding:
”We expect the utmost professionalism from our staff when they are representing British Airways.”
