Singer, Sade Adu makes a come back with soundtrack for upcoming movie

Nigerian–British soul singer, Folasade Adu, better known as Sade Adu, has made a come back after 7 years, to record a new original song for the upcoming American film, titled: ‘A Wrinkle in Time’.
The movie soundtrack, which is titled ‘Flower of the Universe’, will be the first new music from Sade since the release of her sixth album ‘Soldier of Love’ in 2010.
The movie will also feature music from DJ Khaled, Demi Lovato, Sia, Kehlani and Beyoncé proteges Chloe x Hallelujah, Iranian-German composer, Ramin Djawadi.
The movie director, DuVernay shared the news on Wednesday on her twitter page @ava, writing; “I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget.”
‘A Wrinkle in Time’ is an upcoming American science based on the 1962 novel of the same name written by Madeleine L’Engle.
The film, which is set for release on March 9, has line up of Hollywood stars like Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, Storm Reid amongst others.
