One of the most anticipated and biggest events of the year, The Vanguard Personality award, held over the weekend. Eko hotel and suites, the venue of this event, witnessed the arrival of the creme de la creme of the society
This year was extra special because the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari got honoured with this prestigious award.
Other awardees included:
Governors of the Year: Okezie Ikpeazu, Abia; Seriake Dickson, Bayelsa; Darius Ishaku, Taraba; Mohammed Abubakar, Bauchi and Umar Ganduje, Kano.
Lifetime Achievement Awards went to General Abdulsalami Abubakar, Professor Grace Alele-Williams, Alabo Tonye Graham-Douglas, Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, Chief Sunday Adegeye, aka Sunny Ade, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo and Dr. Oba Otudeko. The Businessman of the Year Award went to Muhammadu Indimi while Banker of the Year was received by Emeka Emuwa.
