US comedian, Bill Cosby’s retrial on sexual assault commences

Apparently, the last has not been heard of the sexual assault charges meted on ace American comedian, Bill Cosby’s retrial on sexual assault charges has begun.
A judge rejected a request by the defence team to remove a juror who allegedly said that Bill Cosby is guilty.
The actor, who starred in the 1980s TV series The Cosby Show, has faced allegations from dozens of other women but has denied them all.
As actor continues to deny these allegations, he is likely to spend the rest of his life in jail for drugging and molesting former basketball player Andrea Constand 14 years ago if found guilty.
According to online reports, Bill Cosby paid the woman accusing him of sexual assault almost $3.4m in a civil settlement in 2004 . His first trial in June 2017 ended without any verdict.
