American boxing heavyweight champion, Floyd Mayweather, who is known for his flashy lifestyle, has gifted his daughter Iyanna Mayweather a massive 30-carat diamond ring as she marks her 18th birthday.
The president of Pristine Jewelers and creator of the diamond ring said:
“The center is an 18-carat canary yellow [diamond]. It’s mounted in platinum. Each stone around is a carat and a half. There’s eight of them.” That brings the total number of carats to 30.
According to Avi, the jeweler-to-the-stars, the boxing champion, who visits his shop in New York’s Diamond District around once a month, placed his order in early May. He also revealed that it took two-and-a-half weeks to create the diamond ring and refused to disclose the specific price of the diamond saying that it is a six figure range.
He added: “Canary diamonds are a little bit more expensive,”
“So, he wanted something different because she has a lot of white diamond rings. He wanted something to pop out and stand out.”
