Prolific writer, Chimamanda Adichie bags honorary degree from Duke University

Prolific writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has added another feather to her cap after she bagging an honorary degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina lately.
The ‘Americannah’ writer was among the few people conferred with the honorary degree at the ceremony for having changed the world extensively.
Other awardees included the CEO of General Motors, Mary Barra; former Durham, Mayor William Bell; Phil Freelon, lead architect for the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture; Dr. William Kaelin, professor of medicine at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School; and Attorney Russell M. Robinson II.
