African Icon Awards – Weah, Elumelu, Tuface, EmmanuelKing, Jackie Phamotse top list

The first list of the various Icons of the 2018 African Icon Awards has been released by the board of governing council led by His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, and the organizers of the event, In-House Entertainment LTD.

Top on the list are eminent personalities across various African Countries. President George Weah of the Republic of Liberia tops the list and he is the All time Sports Icon of the Year.

Mr. Tony Elumelu, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Heirs Holdings and Chairman of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) is the Entrepreneurial Icon of the Year. Chief Oba Adetola Emmanuel King, the CEO of Adron Homes and Properties is the Business Icon of the Year.

Innocent Idibia also know as Tubaba, whom Africa owes a lot of gratitude for leading a new generation of African artistes, whom has released massive great hits for over a decade is the Entertainment Icon of the Year. And also on the list is the delectable and beautiful author of the bestselling book, BARE! Jackie Phamotse from South-Africa. Jackie’s book is presently being featured across Africa at various book festivals and book fairs.

Other Icons and winners would be announced subsequently.

African Icon Awards would be hosted in Lagos Nigeria in 2018, and is expected to be hosted by another African country in 2019. The aim is to within the next 20years, make Africa more United than it has ever been.

A platform to say thank you to personalities and organizations making Africa worth living.
