5 things to consider when wearing accessories

Your accessories form a vital part of your dressing. This is because they transform an ordinary look to an extraordinary look.

Getting your accessories the right way is the key to making a lasting impression and fashion statement.

Here are the things to consider when wearing accessories:

1. Knowing the right scale. It is a fashion no-no to wear so many accessories on a cloth that is already too busy e.g prints, plenty details and the likes. In situations like this, let your accessories be minimal.

2. When wearing neutral colours like black, white or brown , go for bolder colourful accessories. You can try metallic accessories like gold or silver.

3.Match your necklace to your your neckline.

4. Allow a statement piece to be a focal point. If you are wearing a statement necklace, skip earrings or just wear studs. If you are wearing statement earrings, then leave your neck bare. Likewise, don’t wear a statement ring with bangles, allow one to speak.

5.The type of accessories you are wearing should complement each other e.g. a formal dress would go with metallic accessories. Keep colourful accessories for a casual wear
