Nigerian dance queen, Kaffayat Shafau-Ameh, popularly called Kaffy is ecstatic she has hit the one million milestones of Instagram followers. She says she is the first Nigerian dancer to attain the feat.

In a series of posts on her Instagram page, Kaffi, recounted how the journey began with 29 other young Nigerians. She thanked all those who organised the competition that made her become whom she is today, and also those who believed in her and supported her, even when there was no Instagram.  “I love you, I love you, I love you, I love uuuuuu @peterpsquare and rudeboypsquare @rudeboypsquare.” She wrote.

On another post, she wrote: “2006 was a remarkable year in my life. It was the year I knew for sure that Dance was not a mistake.

“A year that challenged my ability to lead with faith and determination. Alongside 29 other young Nigerians, we put a stamp on the idea that anything can make you great. You must just be ready jump… don’t hesitate…JUST DO IT.

“Thank you @benmbruce @silverbirdtv @nokia for organizing what has contributed to where I am today. I special thanks to all who was there to participate and those who watched from home and rooted. God bless you all.” What the Lord has done for me I cannot tell it all.”
