Glitz and Glam At The Wedding Showcase 2018
The 4th edition of south east Nigeria’s biggest wedding fair “The Wedding Showcase” themed “The Eastern Experience” came to an end on Sunday with plenty of pomp and excitement.
The last phase of the event termed ‘The Night of Lights’ was a magical experience. It was a cocktail event elaborately showcasing the rich culture of the Igbo people.
Guests walked in glamorously donning strictly traditional attires to the breathtaking event that featured a fashion runway with some of the biggest names in Nigeria’s fashion industry, as well as celebrity appearances.
Some of the celebrities who graced the event include Ebube Nwagbo, Enyinnaya Nwigwe, Nigga Raw, Racheal okonkwo (nkolinwansukka), Ken Erics Ugo , chinonso Arubayi and Zubby Definition.
Preceding the Night of Lights was the Business Meeting; a business conference for SMEs with the theme, Business, Branding, and Breaking Beyond Even.
This session had speakers like Uche Nnaji CEO of Ouch Lifestyle, Obianuju Okechukwu; CEO of Gossip Hair and Cosmetics, Nelly Agbogu; founder of NaijaBrandChick and Healthy Nellies, and Happiness Okorie of Fhuzo Hairport. Who spoke on different aspects of the theme, in relation to businesses and startups in the region.
The Wedding Showcase started with a two day exhibition on the 22nd of November, with some of the prominent vendors and business, providing a platform for clients, intending couples and in-laws and service providers to connect.
The event could not have been successful without the partnership of the base landmark, Golden Royale, Bella Naija,The palms polo park mall , Zaron , tastymony catering whose weight was felt at every point of the 4day event.
Kachy Ugwa
The convener , Kachy Ugwa in his words said that the event was of tremendous success and hopes next year’s would be power packed as we will be celebrating 5years of existence.
