Allure Awards 2018: PRODUCER OF THE YEAR – Kemi Adetiba
Kemi Adetiba started as a music video director. Then in 2016, she directed one of the most sought- after Nigerian movies, ‘The Wedding Party’.
In 2018, she returned to produce and deliver another classic movie, ‘King of Boys’. With ‘King of Boys’, Kemi returns to the big screen not only with incredible guts, but also, took a considerable risk in making a film, not romcoms or romantic drama, but quite a serious-minded film.
This movie has helped her stamp her feet on the Nigerian movie industry as an extremely impressive filmmaker to watch.
Kemi, the rising movie entrepreneur, was born in Lagos State to Dele Adetiba, an advertising and broadcasting veteran and Mayen, a Civil Engineer, who became the first female Civil Engineer to be elected into the Executive Committee of the Nigerians Society of Engineers.
