Actress, ‘Madam Saje’ is plus one today
Nollywood actress who stars majorly in Yoruba movies, Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, is a year older today.
She was born on February 13, 1959. She hails from Ifelodun, in Kwara State.
She starred as Mama Saje in a 1990 television series titled Erin Kee Kee.
She took to her Instagram page early on Wednesday to sing praises to the Almighty for the opportunity to see another year.
She wrote: “Alhamdulillah Robin alamin for the journey so far. Which of ur favour will I deny you Allah. You’re indeed a blessing to me. I pray for his protection, mercy, and goodness on me.
“I appreciate all my fans home and abroad for been part of d journey Almighty God will continue to be with us all…… HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.”
The 59-year-old who started acting actively since 1975, has starred in over 80 movies.
She is married to Rafiu Balogun, also actor. He was her boss before they married. Her eldest son is a movie director, while her youngest daughter is also an actress.
