Women React to Vivian Fowler School Denying Rescued Cocaine User

April 18,2019
Share:
After Vivian Fowler School was mentioned by rescued 26-year-old girl drug addict identified as Lizzy.
Social media platforms, had gone agog with lots of reactions. The matter has been the subject of discussion after a video of her surfaced on the internet.
Rescued by Pastor Tony Rapu, senior pastor The House of Freedom, Lizzy, in the video, said that she is an alumnus of two of the most expensive schools in Lagos, Caleb British International Primary School and Vivian Fowler (alledging receiving 2 million per session.)
Although she said that she was introduced by her boyfriend to heroine over seven years ago and begs on the streets for N2000 to be able to afford drugs, what caught the interest of the public are the schools she attended.
In a swift reaction to the news, Vivian Fowler has denied knowing the “former student.” According to their disclaimer, no such name exists in their records. They also allege that the girl gave the social workers two names.
See the disclaimer below:
It reads: “Our attention has been brought to a viral video on social media about a
young lady (Lizzy) who is currently undergoing drug rehabilitation at
Freedom Foundation, and is purported to have attended Vivian Fowler
Memorial College for Girls.

We at Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls were heartbroken by the
news and as a body that stands up for her own (both present and alumni), we investigated and got her full names. The investigation revealed she gave the social worker two names. However, none of the names matched any of our records from inception till date.

In any case, as an institution that has a mandate to nurture girls to
grow and function as respectable and integral members of the society,
our institution has zero tolerance policy on drug use.

The pursuit of perfection and excellence for every girl-child is
paramount to our vision and we will support her recovery for her full
potential to be realized.

We would be willing to work together with the Freedom Foundation and
every other party involved, to ensure she’s rehabilitated, re-oriented
and reinstalled as a fully functional and productive part of the
society.

Thank you.”

Vivian Fowler Memorial College for girls has produced some of Nigeria’s current assets. One of such is Tomisin Ogunnubi, who developed an app that helps track lost children when she was just 12 years old.
Meanwhile, Lizzy has begun rehabilitation.
Nigerians, since the disclaimer have been reacting:

anniehaircollectio: Y’all won’t put any disclaimer nonsense if she were a pilot or a notable outstanding person.
White: Even if she attended your school, that does not make you responsible for her actions. smh ?‍♂️… it has nothing to do with the image of the school.
