Massive Beyoncé’s statue unveiled in Germany
A 9ft tall gigantic statue of Beyonce was unveiled Wednesday at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. The statue was modeled after Beyoncé’s cover shoot for “Homecoming: The Live Album.”
Although it is unclear who the artist is, the statue received a huge round of applause from the crowd when it was revealed. Sony music was apparently involved in the commission of the piece.
Many fans said they were struggling to find the resemblance after a video of the unveiling was tweeted by popular Beyoncé fan account Beyoncé Legion.
The statue is modeled after Bey’s Homecoming: The Live Album where she steadies her crown on top of her head.
