83-year-old grandma serves as flower girl at her granddaughter’s wedding
Kansas-raised Brenna Kleman had a special requested her 83-year-old grandma to be her flower girl on her wedding day.

Her wish became a reality when Kleman got married to Brock Kendall in April, and her 83-year-old grandma wore a specially chosen maroon dress with pearls as she threw pink petals into the air in pure joy as her flower girl.
Most flower girls tend to fall between the ages of two and six or seven but this 83-year-old grandma served at her 27 year old grand daughter’s wedding so well.
‘Grandma’ — as she would only identify herself to Good Morning America — was happy to oblige, saying: ‘I felt excited and blessed to be there.’
A registered nurse, Brenna said one of her patients — who herself had been a flower girl at her granddaughter’s wedding — gave her the idea.
When she asked her grandmother to fulfill the role, she was only too happy to oblige.
‘The whole congregation just could not stop smiling when they watched Grandma walk down the aisle. She got a little teary eyed … she said she wanted to make sure that she did everything OK for my day,’ said Brenna.
What stuck out for Klemen and Kendall was Grandma’s strength as her husband has been sick for a while. “It was Grandma’s positive attitude that brought him up,” she added.
“Grandma has always put family first and she’s there for all of us.” “Age doesn’t matter,” groom Brock Kendall told “GMA.”
“Grandma’s 83 years young and in the picture, she’s off the ground jumping and throwing flowers.”
