Ms Esther Audi  Ojire is of the opinion that a child should not be subjected to taking care of another child in the name of domestic staff.

She wrote: “This video brought tears to my eyes.

A child should not be responsible for training a child. My opinion though, i think a domestic worker should not be less than 18years.
And employing them to do the house chores does not mean they should be made to overwork themselves. Why do people treat their house helps like they are not humans???? If the work is too much for you to do that you need their help, know also that the work might as well be too much for them as well. Reposted from @saltandtruthtv (@get_regrann) – In many Nigerian homes, it’s normal to find a child or teenager, working from sun up to sun down, performing arduous menial labour like laundry, cooking and cleaning. In this documentary, we look at all the economic and social elements that have made the exploitation of children a staple in homes across Nigeria; where they come from, their lives as servants and societal attitudes and responses to this abuse”
