Haneefah Adam is the visual artist and creator who creates the most beautiful things with food! – Yes, you read right.

Haneefah Adam

Haneefah Adam gets her inspirations from society and tells her story, using Nigerian foods.

In 2016, Haneefah won a culinary exhibition that was targeted at exploring the artistic portrayal of the country’s local meals. Winning the competition made her realize that she could make a living as a food artist even though she is a trained medical scientist.

For Haneefah, there is no stopping.

Ramadhan Mubarak!!! May the month be immensely beneficial for us all. ? #Ramadan #ramadankareem What’s your favourite food to break fast with? Dried dates are a very popular staple that shows up in my hometown when it’s Ramadan! Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ ) recommended us to break the fast with fresh or dry dates.

A long time ago, I created some visual contents for @mychopchop.ca, a Canadian online grocery store that sells Nigerian/African items. In these ones, I used Zobo leaves and Iru (locust beans) for an illustration, which are just one of the things they sell on their website! #foodart #mixedmediaart #mixedmediaartist #art #illustration #zobo #iru #nigeria
