Nollywood actress, Rukky Sanda clocks 35 today
Nigerian actress, film producer and director Rukky Sanda is 35 today.
Born Rukayat Akinsanya on August 23, 1984 in Lagos State, she began her acting career in 2004 while still a student at Lagos State University, and continued after graduation in 2007.
Before she began acting, she used to deal in the buying and selling of clothes and fashion accessories.
The first movie she ever produced which cost her about N3 million to produce was titled ‘Lethal Woman’
Rukky admits that if she could turn back the hands of time, she wouldn’t release her first movie as she does not consider it her best work
One of the things she regrets about her first movie was the fact that she copied the storyline of a foreign movie she had seen, which she considers a very naive thing to do.
