Jump ropes and lose 1,300 alories

There are a few things to understand about the skipping exercise or jumping ropes.

Aside the that is fun, it is also one of the best ways to burn calories.

According to a fitness coach, Chinwe Obinwanne, the following will convince you to add jump rope to your workout list:

Increased fat burning: I discovered through research that jumping rope can help burn roughly up to 1,300 calories per hour.

Increased muscle engagement with heavier jump ropes: When I jump rope with a heavy jump rope, find that I engage more muscle groups with every workout which of course brings faster results.

Improved mental sharpness: I found surprisingly through research that  jumping rope helps with the development of the left and right hemispheres of your brain, which further enhances spatial awareness, improves reading skills, increases memory and makes one more mentally alert.

The fun factor: I wouldn’t have expected jumping ropes to be a fun activity but it turned out to be. Jumping rope is a fun way to achieve one’s fitness goals. It’s fun to work on new jump rope skills and inter-changing different skills removes the boredom from working out thereby ensuring one sticks with the routine for longer.
