Learn at least how to spell your city, Kemi Olunloyo counsels Tacha

Social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo has advised Big Brother Naija, Pepper Dem Housemate, Tacha to learn how to spell her city properly.

This advice came after Tachas’ blunders with the spellings of her favourite phrase, ‘Port Hacourt’s 1st Daughter’. Instead, she wrote ‘Port Harcout first daugter.’

The Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ housemates were tasked by Biggie to celebrate themselves in the house by painting the walls with unique and memorable designs of their choice.

Tacha’s design got fans’ attention and many have been reacting to the goof.

Kemi stated that even Youths in PORT HARCOURT DISOWNED her all over the net and a source in the Rivers Ministry of Education said Tacha should STOP “calling herself Port Harcourt’s first daughter”,

She then advised Tacha to learn how to spell her city, properly.

“I always PREACH LITERACY and call Nigerians “Illiterate” a lot. An Illiterate is somehow an abusive word to many Nigerians. You think I’m dragging you down. In AMERICA we take corrections early but you back home gloat and never learn. An Illiterate is simply a person who can’t READ OR WRITE NOR KNOW BASIC THINGS OR CONCEPTS. I for one call myself a Yoruba Illiterate simply because I cannot read or write my own language. I can only speak it. I left this country at 14yo and returned at 49yo so I never got to learn it in school. We were always told to choose and I chose French which I’m fluent in.

“Tacha on #BBNaija19 couldn’t spell “Port Harcourt” and “Daughter”. The arrogance is astounding. Sponsors are already on the run! After being corrected she had space to put “H” in between Daughter but no space to put “U” in between her “Port Harcort”

“Youth in PORT HARCOURT DISOWNED her all over the net. I spoke to a source in the Rivers Ministry of Education and that person even said she should STOP “calling herself Port Harcourt’s first daughter” as that belongs to Wike’s daughter or any past governors. I used to be called Ibadan’s first daughter in 1983??? btw.

“It is now clear that Tacha is AN ILLITERATE and cannot empower anyone. The slayqueen beauty store owner mentality is making her look like what we call a “BIMBO” in America. Google the word. Good luck to @symply_tacha?? Learn at least how to spell YOUR CITY?” She wrote.
