The air was charged with anticipation and excitement, as fashion enthusiasts, designers and industry stakeholders gathered for the Port Harcourt Fashion and Design Week held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State from July 19-20, 2019.

Set against the backdrop of creativity and innovation, the event promised to showcase the best of Nigerian fashion, and it did not disappoint. The exhibition and masterclass from industry leaders like Marco Louis, Lexy Mojo Eyes, Frank Oshodi, and Gift Nwankwo among others witnessed beautiful collections from an array of 27 designers from Port Harcourt and beyond.

The prestigious fashion event provided a perfect platform for emerging designers to showcase their talents, and Turu Glitz seized the opportunity with grace and finesse. Amidst a whirlwind of vibrant colours, exquisite fabrics and intricate designs, Turu Glitz stood out, capturing the hearts and imaginations of attendees with its charming and elegant creations.

Owned by the dynamic duo of Joy Azubuike and Sandra Omo-ogun, Turu Glitz unveiled a collection that left guests mesmerized. Their attention to detail, exquisite tailoring, and innovative use of African fabrics set them apart as true masters of their craft. From the intricate stitching to the carefully curated colour palette, every piece exuded sophistication and style.

The personalities that graced the occasion found themselves irresistibly attracted to Turu Glitzs booth where the distinctive Turu Glitz Dress, Turu Ready-To-Wear and Turu Men Exclusive designs were displayed. There, the enthusiastic guests connected profoundly with the designs, as numerous advance orders flooded in for the brand.

But it wasnt only Turu Glitzs stunning designs that captivated the attendees; it was also the brands commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity and craftsmanship. Turu Glitz doesnt just create clothes; it equally crafts wearable works of art that celebrate the rich tapestry of African tradition and cultural heritage.

As the curtains were drawn on yet another successful edition of Port Harcourt Fashion and Design Week, Turu Glitz emerged not only as a credible fashion brand, but also as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring designers.
