Couple holding hands.. Heart breaks

Except you married your childhood bestie and didn’t date anyone before then.

It simply means you’ve had your heart broken maybe once or twice.

Heart breaks are some how inevitable, it just happens and one person is left shattered.

The pain is simply unbearable especially when you’ve put in your very best into that relationship.

Different persons deal with heart breaks in a certain way.

Some are left bitter, too cautious, while others avoid relationships or generalize and judge others from the eyes of their past lovers.

In as much as one get devastated with heart breaks, if handled properly makes the individual strong and able to feel so much for another person.

Here are some best  ways to handle a broken heart.

Avoid Self Guilt; According to a psychologist Jessica Zuker, ” one of the worst part of a breakup is feeling its your fault”

After a break up that lives you heart broken, try so hard to burden yourself with guilt.

You are  probably not the reason your relationship packed up and if you are just taking corrections is enough.

Don’t way yourself down by blaming you over and over again.

Allow yourself to feel the feelings ; every heart break comes with feeling of bitterness, anger, frustration, loneliness and so many others.

Don’t suppress those feelings, they are simply normal. Feel them, very if you have to, let it all out.

You will certainly feel way better than bottling it all up.

Forgive; Forgiveness is basically for you and not your partners. When you forgive, you lighten the hard feelings inside of you.

Forgiveness lifts a sort of burden off your shoulder and takes with it those resentments, anger, frustration and bitterness.

Forgive because you deserve to be happy and free from burden.

Build  A Support System : Your happiness is entirely up to you, but you do need a support system.

When those feeling begins to crawl in and you are tempted to break down or go begging for love from your ex.

Quickly reach out to friends who are way supportive. They will do you more good in forgetting you ex.

One or two is just fine, could be friends, sisters, brothers and parents. Just have someone to reach out to.

Allow Healthy Distractions; After the whole moody thing, allow yourself get distracted often.

Some things that can enable your healing to be faster and complete.

Go see a movie with friends, go jogging with music blasting in your ears.

Meet new people and have plenty of fun. By healthy distractions it means doing things that won’t harm you in any way.

Don’t go drinking and getting high in other to forget.

These  things are momentary and you’d see your problems glaring at you the next day.

You deserve to be happy and nothing should be in the way of your happiness.

Get over those feelings and become a happy loving person.
