Reno Omokri honored by Hollywood weekly magazine
Reno Omokri, the ex aide to the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan got awarded by the Hollywood weekly magazine film.
He received the award on November 2nd for the Most Outstanding Humanitarian Cause.
This is in respect to his campaign for the releases of Leah Sharibu.
Leah shabiru was one of the school girls abducted during a Boko Haram raid in Dapchi, Yobe state.
Reno took to his Twitter handle to acknowledge receipt of the award at California. He was accompanied by Abba Atiku (representing his father, Atiku Abubakar).
He went further to share clip of his speech on collecting the award and gave an excerpt on his tweet page it says
” In Nigeria where I am from, we are all Leah Sharibu. Our rights, freedom and economy have been abducted by a BRUTAL, BACKWARDS, STONE AGED dictator named @mbuhari. ”
He dedicated the award to Leah Sharibu, Goodluck Jonathan and Atiku Abubakar.
The ex president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan took to his Twitter handle to congratulate Reno for the award.
He commended Hollywood weekly for the initiative and congratulated Mr Omokri for the well deserved recognition.
