Why Tiwa Savage Stood to Greet Me
Afro-pop star, Teni da Entertainer, has revealed her encounter with pop singer, Tiwa Savage, on a plane.
The plump singer said in a tweet that she was surprised when Tiwa approached her on a flight to say ‘hello’.
“@TiwaSavage surprised me yesterday 😩😩 didn’t know she was on the plane, she stood up from where she was to come say hello to me!!! Thank you for honoring me. God will honor you❤️❤️❤️,” she said.
Sports broadcaster, Charles anazodo, had clashed with Tiwa in October for ‘snubbing’ him and a colleague when she visited The Beat FM in Lagos for an interview.
Teni, however, won four awards at the Headies held on October 19.
Born Teniola Apata, Teni is the younger sister of Nigerian singer, Niniola.
She gained prominence after releasing the single ‘Fargin’ in September 2017.
The versatile singer made her breakthrough after releasing the hit singles ‘Askamaya,’ ‘Ase,’ and ‘Uyo Meyo’ in 2018.
