With so many ladies embracing their natural hair, the need to discuss it becomes paramount.

Natural hair has been tagged nappy and many believes it has to be relaxed with strong chemicals to make it look good.

The journey to rocking a great natural hair can be tedious but the outcome is always amazing.

If you are on the natural hair journey, chances are you’ve had tons of issues.

Hair breakage, tangling, hair dryness, and so on.

This things can be easily taken care of.

This is achieved by using the right products and hair routine.

The fear of  introducing harsh chemicals to the hair has led to home made products from different individuals.

Stick with what works for you, but here is a general overview of how you can take care of your natural hair.

Use The Right Shampoo : There are tons if shampoo in the market and choosing one can be daunting.

The best tip to finding the best shampoo is to always go for shampoo with a balanced PH.

Doing this will prevent excessive dryness of the hair or hair breakage.

Condition When Due : Conditioning the hair deposits protein and moisture into the hair. Have a deep penetrating condition every month.

Protective Styling : This puts your hair to rest, use locks, braids and other styles to allow your hair rest.

This is very important in your natural hair journey.

Wash With Luke Warm Water : The best water to use while washing your hair is a Luke warm water. Hot water remove the natural oil that leaves the hair shinning.

De-tangle Before Combing : When the natural hair is dry, it’s best to always de tangle the hair carefully before combing it. This helps to prevent hair loss or breakage.

Stretch Your Hair : Occasionally you can use natural methods to stretch your hair, this leaves it long and not shrink.

Natural hairs usually shrinks so stretching it enables you know the exact length of your hair.

Pre Poo : This is oil treatment applied to hair before shampooing, helps remove the tangles easily and retaining of moisture.

Eat Healthy Food : wandering what food has got to do with hair?

It’s within then without, your hair follicles need healthy food to grow out healthy hair.
