Feelings :Stop being an entitled bitch

January 24,2020
Share:

Entitlement is the act of feeling that you are owed something for one reason or the other.

I’m the most beautiful girl around the neighborhood therefore the title belongs to me.

I graduated from the university with a first class, I’m meant to be offered jobs as soon as I apply.

I am noble, perfect and unblemished, therefore God is meant to grant all my request as soon as I ask them.

Hey!!!

Open ya eyes and stop being an entitled bitch.

No one owes you anything in life, not even God.

I remember back in the days when I was feeling like God owed me immediate answers to my prayers.

Granny was so sick, prayers and fasting were recommended. I took part actively.

I fasted, prayed, cried and stayed pure so God won’t have any reason not to answer.

My faith was bigger than the mustard seed and I keep waiting for the miracle to happen.

I got a call from cousin and she said, granny is gone. 😢😢

I said OK, ended the call and became furious.

How can he not answer my prayer after all that we did.

How can he fail granny after all her sacrifices and great virtue.

I was heartbroken 💔

I was angry with him.

I even stopped talking to him.

This continued until when I received sense.

I realized I was just being an ENTITLED BITCH.

You see ehhh, God doesn’t owe us anything. At his timing, he will grant our heart desires that are in accordance to his will.

No matter how hard you pray, God can only answer us at his time.

When the answers are not forth coming, remember that all He does is for our own good.

Remember if God doesn’t owe you a thing, how can you be so expectant and feeling entitled to a mere mortal?

Its said that expectations hurt and that’s damn true.

If you fail to expect something from someone, you won’t feel bad when they don’t grant your request.

Common, they are allowed to say no.

Learn to accept it freely without being sentimental.

You can only hold yourself accountable and to live a life without disappointment, you simply have to learn how to stop being entitled and expectant.

I don’t like it when you are hurt, so please learn to do the above and you will be free from disappointment, heartbreaks and unnecessary hurt.

Till I write you again, stop being a bitch.
