Nigeria singer Eedris Abdulkareem has said he feels vindicated after 18 years as Nigeria is still jaga jaga.

Eedris was a guest on Channels television on Sunday 12th January 2020.

He talked about feeling vindicated 18 years after he released his song titled “Nigeria Jaga Jaga.

It can be recalled that after the music hit the street, it was banned by the federal government.

The song Nigeria Jaga Jaja released in 2002, talked about corruption and suffering in Nigeria.

It was banned from the radio station though it was played at night clubs and individuals.

Speaking during the interview, Eedris said :

“In 2002 I dropped Nigeria Jaga Jaga, and the ex-president came on the National TV and said that boy wey sing that song, na him papa and him family jaga jaga. I was very happy that my message got to the president. I was very happy that the president talked back at me because that means they were listening and today I’ve been vindicated again because Nigeria is still jaga jaga.”
