International women’s month; see major factor limiting women

March 9,2020
Share:

It’s march and a month women are celebrated internationally.

Over the years women has suffered one limitation or the other.

She has suddenly gone from being the most neglected to the most talked about.

So many people wants her involved in almost every thing.

She is now needed in every spheres of life .

With her being at the center of most conversation one might wonder what could be limiting her.

The 4 major limitation women has had in the past  and continue to have are as follows;

They include but not limited to culture, society,Men and their fellow women.

The most powerful of them all is that of fellow women.

Surprisingly this is the major factor when it comes to women limitations.

It surpasses others as the effect lingers like forever until a paradigm shift happens.

Older women tend to tear apart the younger once.

Madams subject their maids to series of inhumane act just to show off their power.

After such demystifying experiences the ripple effect is always wide.

A low esteemed broken woman is unleashed to the world.

Her experience gets passed on from one person to another .

This attitude are the reason it’s said that women do not like themselves.

Critically looking at the above statement makes you want to cringe but then how do one explain this;

A woman housing young ladies and inviting men to come impregnate them.

She sales off the babies to fellow women who needs to show off their fertility.

How do you explain a successful woman who employs young ladies.

Constantly talks down at them abusing them emotionally and mentally.

A step mother maltreating another woman’s child simply because they were not hers.

Women train boys who tomorrow oppress women because he saw the mum doing the same.

You see until we are able to stand united as women without tearing each other apart,  we won’t get the equality we clamour.

The change and equality we clamour for needs to begin with us.

Other factors are little compared to the harm we cause ourselves.

Chimamanda Adiche once said;  The height she has achieved is majorly because of help she got from fellow women.

If those who have seen the light can genuinely luminate the part of others like few do.

Then the woman folks collectively can come together and lift each other up.

It’s not one woman against the other but one woman for another.

We are a blessed breed that is capable of being and achieving anything.

Women need more of collaboration, unity, love and togetherness.

We need to do away with envy, jealousy, backbitting, gossips and inhumane acts towards others.

When we have this all sorted out,  other factors are mere mountains we can crush easily.

You are a special breed, always shine your light for others.

Remember to always be human towards everyone.
