Mathew is the last born of 7 children born in Lagos into the family of Gabriel Afolayan (late).

Meet Mathew Afolayan Nollywood Producer and Entrepreneur

Happily married and A graduate of Agricultural science from the highly rated university of Ilorin.

 

Mathew is a serial businessman who as worked in the real estate industry and also has passion to make an impact in the entertainment industry.

 

His desire to work in the entertainment industry led to his decision to be a co founder of the varsity date; a dating website/application for the Nigerian youths.

Mathew is the managing director of the fast growing cargo logistics company Bustmatic limited.

He has always been a philanthropist right from a very young age but his desire to help others took a new turn when his father died of kidney complications in 2016, he has helped by donating and soliciting funds for several widows across the nation and less privileged in general.

He is set to take the movie industry by storm with his new movie project “The Oldest Bridesmaid’. Working with top actors like Munachi Abi, Efe Irele, Rosy Maruer, jimmy odukoya and a host of others. In his words “ If we are tired of the mediocrity in Nollywood then we should effect the change want to see.”
