BBNaija season 5 received over 900million votes
Big Brother Naija Season 5 Lockdown recorded over 900million votes across all voting platforms, the highest ever in the history of the show, the Managing director of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe has revealed.
Ugbe made this revelation at the media briefing and presentation winners ceremony which held in Lagos on Wednesday
He said that the show recorded 900 million votes (inclusive of online voting) from the different voting platforms, adding that the cost of producing the show was about N3.5bn.
The winner of the show, Laycon was presented with an N30m dud cheque, keys to a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus, and a top of the range SUV, an IVM G40, from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors.
The 5-seater IVM G40 is a two-wheel-drive SUV with a standard wheelbase equipped with the latest ABS + EBD Technology.
