Queen Sarah to give hope to the vulnerable
For Miss Sarah Toritseju Pessu, the latest Most Beautiful Face in Nigeria, winning the fiercely competitive pageant made her childhood dreams a reality.
“I has always pictured my crowning moment by Queen Aisha and the reality was way better. I still did not believe I had won even after I was crowned. Everyone started calling me queen it felt really strange. But it’s a dream come true for me,” she said.
Queen Sarah, a Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Bradford has planned to give hope to the vulnerable as part of her pet project.
“My pet project is called “Hope to the Vulnerable’ and it is about feeding the poor and empowering the Nigerian youths. It is going to involve the distribution of food items to the vulnerable groups (poor children and women) in Nigeria?, especially in Edo and Delta states. I will also be training some lucky youths to acquire entrepreneurial skills such as Catering, Fashion design and Hair styling. I am also planning to include Goldsmithing to the list of skills acquisition but currently that has not been confirmed. Anyone willing to sponsor or collaborate with me on this noble cause is free to contact me @sarahpessu on Instagram.”
When asked what other hopes, dreams and aspirations she has or planning on, the beautiful Queen adds: “I am really passionate about my pet project which I call ‘Hope to the vulnerable’, which is about feeding the poor and youth empowerment. I plan on getting as many sponsors as possible to join this cause because I feel like Nigeria is the next big thing that the world is not ready for. The talent buried in this country is really something we need to join hands and develop by training our youths.
I also plan on setting up my own plastics recycling company and furthering my education by getting an MBA.”
