‘I had Miscarriage Not Abortion’ – Rosie Accuses Lover Kachi Of Domestic Violence

Co-winner of the ‘Ultimate Love‘ TV show, Rosemary ‘Rosie’ Afuwape has come out to speak on the reason behind her break up with Kachi Ucheagwu.

Rosie and Kachi had won the first season of the ‘Ultimate Love’, a reality show hinged on finding love as couples, which might or not lead to marriage, with a prize worth millions to be won.

The partners had, however, announced their breakup, shortly after the show ended, thereby forfeiting all the prizes won, including an all-expense-paid wedding, N5 million, and a well-furnished house.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo of YNaija, Kachi had alleged that he broke up with Rosie because she aborted their child without his knowledge.

“Rosie told me she was pregnant and I was happy about it but then told me she wanted to abort the child, my child. She said she didn’t want her parents finding out she was pregnant before they got married especially after she had two children out of wedlock,” he had said.

“Rosie also brought up her career but insisted her parent was the major reason she wanted to terminate the pregnancy. Then we set out looking for a particular drug but within me, I said if its God’s will that we keep this child let us not find the drugs.”

Rosie, however, took to her Youtube page on Saturday to share a video clip wherein she addressed some of the claims her ex-fiancé’s made during the interview with Jideonwo.

In the video titled ‘My Truth’, the mother of two accused Kachi of domestic violence, claiming that she was physically abused by him in their home.

“I locked the door and told him I wanted to talk to him. The moment he realised that the door was locked, he told me to open the door and I refused. And then we started struggling,” she said while battling with tears.

“He was trying to get the key from me. I held the key very tight. And I was pregnant of course during that time and I told him. Kachie took my hand and hit my hand three times and I screamed. When I screamed my brother came and was banging the door. My hands were trembling and I could not open the door. I threw the key under the door and told him to open it.”

Reacting to the allegation that she aborted their child, Rosie said she had a miscarriage and not an abortion.

“I am not a murderer. I never aborted any child. I had a miscarriage. I am not here to throw anyone in the bad light but what he has done to me… destroyed me as a woman, mother is unimaginable,” she added.
