Nollywood director Wasiu Onitilo is dead. 

Femi Ogundoro, the founder and CEO of the entertainment company, Maxima, announced Onitilo’s passing in a Facebook post.

On Sunday, the film director passed away.

The reason for his passing, though, is yet unknown.

In a heartfelt homage, Ogundoro called the death of the director known as “Baba Was” “painful.”

Additionally, he recalled his pleasant memories of the deceased.
