Rinu says she plans to sue CBN for unlawfully freezing her account

February 10,2021

Rinu Oduala, one of the 20 persons whose accounts were frozen back in November 2020 after the CBN issued a court order, after the #EndSARS protests, has taken to Twitter to say that she will be suing CBN for the unlawful freeze on her accounts.

She tweeted:

“It’s time to sue CBN for the unlawful freeze of my accounts. I was accused of money laundering & terrorism but no investigations were done in the past 3 months. This was purely an act of intimidation! I have informed my lawyers, Falana and Falana Chambers & we will be suing”!

The same way they are paying influencers to discredit the #EndSARS movement and many of you are stupidly falling for the obvious divide and conquer tactics. At times, I wonder if the so-called youths are really wise or na vibes full our head.

Recall that the court directed banks to freeze all transactions on the 20 accounts and all other bank accounts of the defendants and respondents for a period of 180 days pending the outcome of investigation and inquiry that was conducted by the CBN.
