Toyin Lawani’s nun costume is tasteless, disgusting, ghetto rubbish – Fani-Kayode
Former Nigeria’s Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has described the controversial nun costume of stylist Toyin Lawani as ‘tasteless’, ‘tactless’, ‘disgusting’, ‘outrageous and ‘ghetto rubbish.
Toyin wore the outfit to the premiere of the Prophetess movie premiere on at the weekend, and she has since come under attack on social media.
In his reaction on Twitter, FFK stated that the outfit is ‘anti-Christ and totally and completely unacceptable.’
“Disrespectful, tasteless, tactless, shameless, bestial, blasphemous, heretical, disgusting, provocative, outrageous, anti-Christ and totally and completely unacceptable.
This is not art: it is GHETTO RUBBISH!”
“I forgot to add that it is also EVIL!” The ex-minister further added.
Toyin has since chided critics, saying they don’t even know what Art is when they see it. She also described them as ‘bloody hypocrites’ who behind closed do disgusting and nasty shit!
