Regular sex may land you promotions in your workplace

This is a topic that most people dread to talk about despite the fact that, much of man/woman existence revolves around it. Though often seen in advertisement on television, in print media and the most recent- online, most people still prefer to remain completely unaware of the impact that sex has on human lives, ability to function and to be productive and efficient.

  • Regular sex may land you promotions in your workplace

The Corporate world is not left out most especially as talk of sex is a kind of taboo in the productivity world. It is that little and often inconvenient fact that people don’t want to discuss, and people are often afraid to discuss or be associated with.

Ruffling in the bed sheets on a regular basis is not only just great for your relationship, it may land you a promotion in your workplace. Scientists have discovered that people who have regular, fulfilling sex lives are far more likely to be productive at work than those who spend their nights lonely, crying into empty buckets of chocolate, ice-cream and popcorn.

The theory went further to say that, those who orgasm frequently, are taking advantage of the body’s natural release of the happiness hormone known as dopamine. The dopamine levels within the body when increased alleviates stress and anxiety, increase mood and can linger for an estimated 24 hours after intercourse. One reason why sexed-up employees perform better is that, a happy worker is a good worker (one of the long held ‘truths’ known to management).

“Maintaining a healthy relationship that includes a healthy sex life will help employees stay happy and engaged in their work, which benefits the employees and the organizations they work for.” Studies have shown that workers who took their workload home were less likely to sleep well, had less sex and even chat less with their partner – largely because they were so busy punching out emails on their phones in bed instead of making out.

Employers should encourage members of their their staff in any way possible to indulge in sex at least, three times a week with their spouses in order to boost their productivity. This is because, regular sex at home leads to a more productive time at work. A new study suggests one novel way to get your work done faster “first come love, then comes a pay raise.”

Nurturing a healthy sex life at home boosts employees’ job satisfaction and engagement at work. A recent research has concluded that married couples who engage in regular sex life, immersed themselves in their tasks at work and enjoyed it more than those who did not, leading to more sustained work engagement and job satisfaction throughout the workday.

The benefits can go both ways too; for instance, success at work and increase in salary is also likely to make things easier at home. The higher your paycheck, the more likely you are to stay together which is likely to make things easier at home. Couples making N50,000,000 plus in a year are 51% less likely to split than those earning less than N10,000,000 a year.

The above  does not mean that sex is the magic solution for your career depression, since there are plenty of other ways to boost and stay motivated. It only serves as a reminder that sex has social, emotional and physiological effects and it is important that one makes it a priority by making out time for it, going forward.
