Duncan mighty, other artistes receive N10 million alert from Governor Wike

Nigerian singer Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu, better known as Duncan Mighty, has received the ten million Naira promised by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

It would be recalled that Wike had come under heavy criticism over the weekend after pledging to gift ten million Naira each to all the artists who performed at Burna Boy’s Homecoming Concert despite owing salaries.

  • Governor Wike

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Duncan Mighty confirmed he has received the money as he kept screaming the governor’s name.

The singer wrote: “My gbola don raise chaiiii WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE WIKE.”

This was followed by performing artist, KessyDriz, who took to her social media to shed hot tears after receiving N10million from the Rivers state government.

Sharing a video of herself crying tears of joy; KessyDriz wrote; ”TALK AND DO GOVERNOR.  All my years of tears, struggles and depressions are over …. 10,000,000 richer…. what God cannot do does not exist… Big shout out to @burnaboygram  your win is indeed a win for all of us. Tears of joy. GOD HAS REMEMBERED ME”
