Tomi Odunsi gets International Federation of Business and Professional Women’s appointment
Nigerian TV actress, singer and songwriter best known as “Salewa” in the television series, Tinsel haa been appointed as Young President of the International Federation of Business and professional Women.
Tomi becomes the first African to hold this position in 90years. She was chosen among 110 countries in 5 Continents.
The 33-year-old mother of one announced the latest development in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
She thanked all those who have been a part of her journey, great people who have been her inspiration, mentor, cheer leaders and prayer army, promising she not let them down.
She wrote: “I have been recently appointed as the Young President of the International Federation of Business and professional Women. Being the first African to hold this position in 90years is a great honor and privilege.
“I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the 110 Countries in 5 Continents who chose me to lead this great organization. I also use this opportunity to appreciation the great people who have been my inspiration, mentor, cheer leaders, prayer army… Everyone who has been a part of this journey. particularly would like to appreciate Mrs Vivienne Bamgboye (Director of Greenwich Merchant Bank/President BPW Lekki), Mrs Yinka Ajibola President BPW Nigeria and Every Young BPW Nigeria.
