Buhari’s deleted tweet: The nature of Twitter in Nigeria is suspicious – Lai Mohammed warns
Following the just deleted tweet on civil war by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, June 2021. Lai Mohammed the current Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture warned against the agenda of Twitter in Nigeria.
He made examples of how Twitter was biased in their policies over some violent tweets. He also said that this same twitter was in support of the EndSars protest in Nigeria.
In one of the recordings followed up by this report, he said “What is twitter’s agenda? when people were burning down police officers and stations, Twitter said it was a right to protest but when a similar thing happened in the capitol, it became insurrection. We are not going to be fooled by anybody and we would do what it takes to rule the country”
