Williams Uchemba condemns wicked people in power with bible passages
By Joy Onuorah
Also known for his teachings about God, Filmmaker and actor, Williams Uchemba has recently added his voice to the call for better governance in Nigeria using the scripture. He emphasized the disadvantage of power in the hands of a wicked men.
According to the comic actor, if anyone is in a position of power and his constituents suffer, such a person has blood on his or her hands.
Quoting him exactly, he wrote “a gun in the hands of an armed robber brings danger and crisis, the same gun in the hands of a good patriotic cop brings stability and peace.
An aircraft in the hands of a terrorist causes disaster and agony but the same aircraft in the hands of a decent pilot brings peace and safety. Power in the hands of evil men brings disunity, chaos, hunger and war but give that same power to a just and righteous man, the people will rejoice. To everyone in any position of power and your constituents die of hunger, insecurity and poor amenities and you have the power to do change but rather use the resources for your own selfish gains, congratulations you have blood on your hands and here is I found for you: “what are worthless and wicked people like”? They are constant liars, signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye, a nudge of the foot or the wringle of the fingers. Their perverted hearts plot evil, and they constantly stir up trouble. But they will be destroyed suddenly, broken in an instant beyond all hope of healing, Proverbs 6, 12-15 and the last time I checked, the Bible has never disappointed. Happy new month, guys”.
Apparently, the dissatisfaction about the state of the country is not being experienced by all and Williams Uchemba is definitely one of those whose call for a better Nigeria has been severally heard by many.
