Nigeria’s men’s basketball D’Tigers upsets Team Argentina days after defeating Team USA
Nigeria’s national men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, thrashed Team Argentina with a score of 94-71 on Monday evening at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, after their first-ever triumph against the United States on Sunday morning.
The D’Tigers followed up their triumph against the FIBA-ranked No. 1 team, the USA, with another impressive win over the No. 4-ranked Argentines.
Argentina won the first quarter 19-17, but D’Tigers lead 43-33 at halftime. And by the third quarter, the D’Tigers had a 74-point lead over Argentina’s 55.
