7 Tips to make your bathroom feel like a Spa

August 9,2021

We all dream of slipping into a hot bath after a long day of work to relax. The problem is that, if your bathroom is messy and not-so-stylish, it can be difficult to relax.

Try these easy tricks for making your bathroom feel more like a spa space, to turn it into your own personal retreat. It takes just a few pieces of fresh greenery to transform even the smallest bathroom into a sanctuary.

  1. Add Greenery

It’s best to choose a variety that lasts long and smells fresh, such as minty eucalyptus.

  • Shower Curtains

A new shower curtain is the easiest and cheapest way to refresh a bathroom.

Changing just one element in a room can drastically change its whole appearance, so changing it is worth it

  • Use a small stool

Utilize a small wooden stool to place fresh towels nearby the shower, a trick from bath houses.

In addition to looking great, this way you can always reach a towel.

  • Use a bamboo mat

The Zen effect is enhanced by a slatted wooden mat, as opposed to fabric or rubber mats, that get damp and moldy. Using the bathroom after someone just showered will no longer result in wet socks.

  • Use Scented Candles

Spas stimulate all the senses, including the sense of smell. Light a candle with a light and soothing scent, such as lavender or eucalyptus, to achieve a similar effect.

  • Add Wall Arts

Hang a work of art that you love in the bathroom, so your eye gets something to look at while you relax or apply a face mask. Consider choosing a relaxing visual theme, such as ocean waves.

  • Use a Shower Caddy

It’s impossible to relax when your toiletries are all over the edge of the tub? Make your shower supplies more organized by hanging a caddy.
