Stephanie Busari gets Emmy Nomination for Lekki Tollgate investigation
Congratulations are in order for Bureau Head of CNNAfrica Stephanie Busari and her team who was recently nominated for two Emmy Awards, for their report on the Lekki Tollgate investigation. Busari who shared the cheery news with her followers on her social media handle said she was stunned when she found out that she had been nominated for not one, but two Emmys.
Stephanie Busari wrote “I was speechless when I heard the news that our Lekki Tollgate investigation was nominated. My mouth literally dropped open!!! It really is a huge honour for an important body of work that shed light on the terrible events of October 20, 2020. A date forever etched in the nation’s memory.”
