Marriage is not a must – Ubi Franklin

Nigerian music artist manager, Ubi Ekapong Ofem, otherwise known as Ubi Franklin has expressed his opinion about marriage.
Franklin stated that if a lady needs to be encouraged to say yes when she’s proposed to, they are not there yet.
“If you go on your knees to engage a woman and she needs people to shout, say yes before she takes the ring, y’all not there yet”.
He stressed that past experiences has taught him that people date sometimes to satisfy their immediate needs not necessarily material or money needs.
Further, he opined that marriage is not a must because of the kind of things happening within the institution. Ubi Franklin advised that some fundamental problems should be sorted out first before considering marriage.
According to him, many don’t even know why they are getting married in the first place. For some, it is the attention on the wedding day that they are seeking.
“Some people don’t even know why they are getting married, some just want the attention on their wedding it’s deeper”
