Getting love off live support

A love relationship like marriage is like a journey with it’s ups and downs. Sometimes, the road gets so bumpy, you want to slow down on the ride or even park the car. With some marriages, after years of living together, a significant other may begin to drift and see his or her partner more like a room mate than a partner in a love relationship.

The burden of raising children and the stress of daily living can make couples drift apart and cause the spark to disappear.

While no two relationship are the same, couples drift apart for different reasons but there are some who have walked this path and and succeeded in keeping the spark alive.

Here is how experts suggest you find the spark back and rescue your relationship from life support.

Know what the spark is
The first place to start to bring back the spark in a relationship is identify what exactly the spark is and for each partner, different things could cause the spark. The spark represents those things that bring excitement, passion, and puppy-love at the onset of a relationship; it could cuddling, holding of hands, hugs or just givig generous compliments to the man/woman you once fell for.

Communicate: When your heart doesn’t race around him or you don’t touch as much or when sex feels like a chore, these are indicators that the spark is going down. The wise thing to do is to have a conversation before it is too late. Talking to each other, will help sort out a lot of issues that you have had in the past as well as misunderstandings. Communication helps to get out, ill feelings and frustrations thàt you have bottled up, leaving room for love.

Have a date night
When couples get too busy, life happens and the spark goes off, they just forget to go out to enjoy life. To bring the spark back, couples must make going out a priority. The wise thing to do, is to set a dedicated date night at least once a month. The whole activities involved in preparing for the date, nice outfit , fine dining place and all, will help kindle the spark.

Sleep-closer-together
Sleeping in different rooms or wide apart on the same bed can kill the fire in any relationship. Sleeping together, skin-to-skin or just touching toes can cause a rush of chemicals in the brain. Physical contact bin bed should not happen only during sex. Sleeping together brings relationship satisfaction

Take a vacation
Work and family obligations often take the chunk of one’s time forcing you and your partner to put your love lîfe on the back burner.
Programme some time off from your regular responsibilities to have a weekend get-away or more. This may help you concentrate on each other instead of the many distractions that being at home can create. Schedule all the fun things that can help ignite a fresh spark and resucitate the ailing relationship.

Try something new together. …
