Psquare to release first joint song since reunion
The Psquare brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, are getting ready to drop two brand-new tracks.
The singles, their first collaborative release since their reunion, are scheduled to be released this month.
The Okoye brothers had hinted in January that they would shortly be releasing a single jointly.
They were releasing two “fresh new singles,” Peter revealed on his Twitter page on Monday.
The song titles will be revealed in “four days time,” he stated.
The tunes would be released this month, Peter added.
“2 brand new singles from Psquare to be announced in four days time! And of cos it’s coming out this same month of July! Get ready to update your play list and get your dancing shoes ready to dance! #PsquareSeason.”
In 2017, Peter and Paul split up due to disagreements over Jude Okoye, their older brother, serving as manager.
They put an end to their nearly five-year feud in November of last year, and in December they performed live for the first time.
Peter had earlier accused the public of pitting the artists against one another through constant comparison.
Paul, however, claimed that the dissolution of Psquare in 2017 was not caused by music but rather family-related concerns.
