Actor, Moses Armstrong returns to movie set after rape allegation
Moses Armstrong has defied the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and is now back at work.
In front of a magistrate court in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the actor was recently accused of raping a minor.
Prior to his arrest and subsequent incarceration, the actor was suspended by the Actors Guild of Nigeria, the country’s association of actors.
After being detained for a few weeks, Judge Ntong Ntong recently released him on bond in the amount of N5 million.
After fulfilling all of the conditions of his bail, he was granted his release from custody last week.
A few days after his release, the actor admitted that he had already started filming his first motion picture.
He was a featured actor in the John Henry- and Imaobong Udoh-produced film “A Walk Away.”
“My first movie set after my incarceration. Done Here. #DoneAndDusted. #OverAndOut. #AWalkAway… The Movie.”
Alongside Ime Bishop Umoh, alias Okon Lagos, the actor had a major role in the film that was filmed in Akwa-Ibom State.
