Hassana Dauda Ismail let loose with an experimental collection full of Poker dot, organza and shimmering lace, a stunning Juxtaposition.

Hassana Dauda Ismail the adventurous, playful newcomer designer was trying to ignite a viral Poker dot trend at the Nivea Black and white Fashion showcase, the team for the night was dazzling lights according to Hassana’s collection.

Starting off strong with a black mini dress featuring poker dot sleeves, gold embellishments on the waistline and a smooth stain finish.

According to the designer this collection was greatly inspired by her travels to England during the winter season, the early dark nights, and the festivities of December. If you have been to England during winter, I’m sure you would understand.

The second look goes in perfect alignment with the inspiration featuring a black shimmering midi lace dress with an off-shoulder sleeves, safe to say this will be perfect for Christmas parties although in my opinion it played a little safe.

After exciting us with the first two looks Hassana took us back to the set of Halle berry’s Cat woman movie with a full bodycon jumpsuit, she tied the collection together by adding the same gold embellishment on the waistline of the jumpsuit just as she did the mini dress.

Closing the night was my personal favourite a two-piece skirt set with a crop top featuring long Poker sleeves. A perfect juxtaposition pairing the dotted organza and black shimmering lace it shouldn’t work but it does!
